ADA Compliant Pedestrian Pass Door

Arm-R-Lite offers our exclusive ADA compliant firehouse pass door in our welded Titan or Custom CI model doors. This pass door can be used in both motor and manual operated assemblies and is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, meaning it is wheelchair accessible.

Pass Door Requirements:

  • Overhead sectional door width cannot exceed 10′-2″ with standard lift.
  • Overhead sectional door width cannot exceed 14′-2″ with full vertical lift.
  • Overhead sectional door height cannot be less than 8′-0″
  • Minimum 24″ headroom required for doors up to 10’-2” wide
  • Full Vertical Lift required for doors over 10’-2” wide and up to 14’-2” wide
  • The clear opening of the ADA compliant firehouse pass door is a minimum of 36” x 84”. Bottom panel of ADA firehouse pass door must contain either a solid panel or 10” kick plate for compliance.
  • ADA compliant firehouse pass doors come with standard hardware. (Custom hardware and panic bars available for upcharge)
  • Sectional Doors with ADA firehouse pass doors have a 5 year structural warranty.
Titan Model

Arm-R-Lite's ADA pass door can be incorporated into either our Titan or Custom CI Model firehouse garage doors.


ADA pass doors will alwways be located in the center of the firehousei garage door and open to the outside of the building. Panic hardware is available for upcharge if needed.
